Have you ever seen on television or on social media people participating in triathlons and thought, “Wow, I could never do that” or “How do they have the time?” Well now is your chance to get your feet wet (literally) and learn more about the sport of triathlon.

We are excited to bring our guest speaker Robin Doyle for this amazing FREE event!! Robin is a USA Certified Level 1 Triathlon Coach as well as an Ironman Certified Coach. He has his Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology and has been teaching at Glenbrook South High School for the last 31 years. Robin has worked with athletes to compete in their first sprint triathlon all the way to a full Ironman.

Training Peaks is an online service/app that Robin uses to give his athletes their workout program for the week. He then will analyze their completed workouts and give them feedback. He plans the workouts around the athlete’s work and family so that they can have an opportunity for success. On Sundays the new workouts are uploaded into the program based on the workout data from the previous week.

Robin knows what he is talking about not only as a coach, but as an triathlete himself. He is a USA Triathlon All-American Athlete and a Ironman All World Athlete Gold Level (Top One Percent). In 2017 he placed 2nd in his age group at Ironman Texas, First at Leon’s Worlds Fastest Triathlon in his age group, and 2nd at Muncie 70.3 in his age group. His success at Muncie and Texas have resulted in Robin qualifying for and participating at the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in Chattanooga, Tennessee and The Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii.
